Sujalam Suphalam Spreading Canal
 
The works of 332 K.M. long Sujalam Suphalam Spreading Canal, traversing through seven districts from Mahi to Banas river which includes diversion of surplus flood water of Kadana Reservoir and Narmada to the water deficit areas, crosses 21 rivers, 2 National Highways, 7 Railway lines and other 564 structures for small drains / nallas are completed except some additional crossing / inlet structures. The work has started yielding results, as the farmers have irrigated their lands through lift and ground water recharge. An outlay of Rs. 2938.23 lakh is suggested for the year 2013-14.
 
Lift Irrigation schemes from Narmada Main Canal to various reservoirs of North Gujarat region
 
Nine reservoirs of the North Gujarat regions are planned to be filled by laying pipelines for utilizing surplus flood water of Narmada. Eight pipelines are completed. The work of three pipelines, from NMC to Dantiwada, NMC to Watrak -Mazam-Meshwo and Patan to Dindrol (extension of Mukteshwar-Khorsam pipeline) are under progress and new pipeline Karan to Dhandhusan (Kadi-Adundra to Dharoi) will be taken on hand during 2013-14. About 15,000 ha area under command of Dantiwada, Watrak, Mazam and Meshwo reservoir will be benefited. An outlay of Rs. 31275 lakh is suggested for this component for the year 2013-14.
 
Construction of tidal regulators / bandharas for Salinity Ingress Prevention and utilization of 1 MAF excess flood water of Narmada in Kachchh.
 
For Kachchh region, 50 bandharas are constructed for utilization of 1 MAFT excess flood water of Narmada under SSY and to prevent Salinity Ingress in the region. The works of three bandharas are under progress. The other works related to utilization of 1 MAFt flood water allocated to Kachchh will be taken on hand during 2013-14. An outlay of Rs. 2600 lakh is suggested for the year 2013-14.
 
Panam High Level Canal (Tribal)
 
Works of Panam High Level Canal under Sujalam Suphalam Yojana costing Rs. 130.71 crore, benefiting 18,000 ha area in Shahera, Godhara and Lunavada Taluka of Panchmahal District are under progress. Under this scheme the highly engineered skilled work of Tunneling in 3.2 km length, approach channel, Head Regulator, link canal and kotar training works are completed. 80 % work of RBMC and LBMC is completed. The work of distribution network is under progress. An outlay of Rs. 1700.00 lakh is suggested for the year 2013-14.
 
Kadana Left Bank High Level Canal (Tribal)
 
Works of Kadana Left Bank High Level Canal under Sujalam Suphalam Yojana costing Rs. 47.79 crore, benefiting 5,000 ha area in Kadana, Santrampur and Lunavada Taluka of Panchmahal District are progressing towards completion. The works of distribution network of phase-II of Kadana High Level canal are under progress. An outlay of Rs. 300.00 lakh is suggested for the year 2013-14.
